Our PT Department

More Than Recovery.

Most PT clinics discharge you and wish you luck. We built a system that takes you from injury all the way through to stronger than you were before — without ever leaving the building.

Physical therapy at Root Strength Georgetown Seattle
4Providers · PT Team On-Site
Dedicated 1-on-1 care when you need it

Your PT program starts with focused, individualized sessions with your Doctor of Physical Therapy — the foundation that makes everything else possible.

A Bridge Program you earn

When your PT clears you, your care expands into coordinated team care on the gym floor — where rehab becomes training. More complex movements. Real weight. Two providers.

Stronger than before — not just pain-free

Our goal isn't to get you back to where you were. It's to build new habits, better movement, and lasting resilience that changes how you live and train.

Your Journey

From Injury To Stronger Than Before.

Three phases designed to take you from pain to performance — not just back to baseline, but beyond it. Every phase happens right here, under one roof.

01

1-on-1 Physical Therapy

Doctor of Physical Therapy

1 : 1

This is where it starts. Focused, individualized sessions with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. Assessment, diagnosis, hands-on treatment, and a plan built specifically around you — your injury, your goals, your timeline. Every session is dedicated entirely to you.

Phase 1 is the foundation that makes everything else possible. Your PT gets to know your body, your movement patterns, and what you need to get back to. This is where trust is built, the recovery plan is set, and the benchmarks for Phase 2 are established.

Phase 1 is where the foundation is built. Your PT will let you know when you're ready for what comes next — and it's worth working toward.

02

PT-to-Performance Bridge

Rehabilitation Strength Specialist
+ Physical Therapist

Coordinated Care · 1 : 1 Coaching

This is what you've been building toward. When your PT clears you for Phase 2, it means your body has earned what comes next. Your care expands from a single provider to a coordinated team — your Rehabilitation Strength Specialist works alongside your Physical Therapist throughout this phase, coaching you 1-on-1 on the gym floor while your PT assesses your movement, progresses your exercises, and ensures every session builds on the last.

This is where rehab becomes training. More complex movements. Real weight. Two providers coaching you through it. The treatment table got you ready — the gym floor makes you stronger. You're not getting less attention. You're getting more expertise working together on your behalf.

The Bridge is not a timeline. It's a benchmark. Not everyone gets there on the same schedule — and that's the point. Your PT will not clear you until they're 100% confident. When they do, it means they trust where your body is.

Two providers. One plan. Built around you. Your PT is still leading your recovery. Your Rehabilitation Strength Specialist is building your strength. Together, they take you further than either could alone.

03

Continuation Period

Root Strength Coaches

Complimentary · 2 Weeks

You've completed your PT program — but your work doesn't stop. Every PT graduate receives a complimentary 2-week Continuation Period: full access to all Root Strength classes and open gym at no cost. Same coaches, same community, same momentum.

By this point, you've already been training on the gym floor. You know the coaches. You know the members. You have a routine. The Continuation Period isn't introducing you to something new — it's giving you permission to keep doing what you're already doing.

Most of our PT patients stay on as members — not because we ask them to, but because the habit is already built and the results speak for themselves.

Why Root Physical Therapy

What Makes Us Different.

Not your typical PT clinic. We're embedded inside a strength training facility — so your recovery and your performance happen in the same place.

01

Your care expands, not reduces

Start with dedicated 1-on-1 PT. When you're ready, your care team grows — adding a Rehabilitation Strength Specialist while your PT continues to lead.

02

Beyond pain-free

Most clinics stop at "no more pain." We take you from pain-free to actually strong — with new habits, better movement, and lasting resilience.

03

Where rehab becomes training

The treatment table gets you ready. The gym floor makes you stronger. Both happen in the same building, directed by the same clinical team.

04

Direct access

No referral needed for Washington State residents. Most major insurance accepted. We verify your benefits before your first visit.
